This is a Vector Trace from the original art from the Marvel Comics more than meets the eye books.

It was done in Photoshop CS using the line tool.

I wanted much larger art that I could manipulate easier for use with Wallpapers and such.

This is Skyfire -- though in the G1 toy line he's Jetfire, using his robot and jet designs from the *Macross* anime, or, as it's known in America, *Robotech.*

I did use the marvel transformers universe book as reference for this piece, and added a whole lot more detail to it, that it originally had.
